Where do I even start looking in West Houston?
Can I qualify for Texas down payment assistance programs?
How long is the process from pre-approval to getting the keys?
That’s where the Marysol-D It Method comes in.

There isn't one minimum credit score to buy a home in Katy because the requirement depends on the loan program. While some loan programs can technically allow scores as low as 580, many first-time buyer assistance programs begin around 620, and higher scores generally provide more financing options and better interest rates.
Yes. Texas offers several first-time homebuyer assistance programs that can help eligible buyers with their down payment and closing costs. Depending on the program, the assistance may be a grant that does not have to be repaid or a deferred or forgivable second loan. Qualification depends on your income, credit score, the county where you're buying, and the loan program you use.
Property taxes in Cypress vary by neighborhood because each subdivision sits in its own Municipal Utility District (MUD), and each MUD sets its own tax rate. Your total tax bill combines the MUD rate with county, school district (most of Cypress is in Cy-Fair ISD), and other local rates. As a result, two homes at the same price in different neighborhoods can have very different yearly tax bills. Newer master-planned communities often carry higher MUD rates than established neighborhoods. To see the exact rates for any address, look up the property on the Harris County Appraisal District (HCAD) website. You can also contact me, and I'll pull the full tax breakdown for any Cypress neighborhood you're considering, in English or Spanish.
